Voting Access Chicago: Help Make Chicago's Polling Places Accessible for Everyone

Equip for Equality is collaborating with the Chicago Board of Elections to make all polling places fully accessible to voters with disabilities and older adults. You can volunteer as part of a team to help ensure that people with physical disabilities and older Americans can exercise their power to vote along with their fellow citizens. As a volunteer, you will help identify accessibility barriers for the Chicago Board of Elections to correct before the next election. We need you to help conduct accessibility surveys of Chicago’s polling places on Election Day, November 6, 2018. We will need the assistance of many, many volunteers to make this happen. It will take only a few hours of your time on Election Day, in addition to a short training in October. Please join us in this important civil rights work!
