Representation in Legal Proceedings

Volunteer attorneys with experience in the subject matter handle all aspects of cases for clients in areas including immigration, Chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcy, employment discrimination, consumer credit, probate, or insurance matters.

Legal Council for Health Justice collaborates with medical and social services providers on three projects: AIDS Legal Project, Chicago Medical-Legal Partnership for Children, and SSI Homeless Outreach Project on cases including estate planning, guardianship, civil rights, consumer, public benefits, immigration, special education, and housing.
