November 19: Learn Client Interviewing Tips, Tools, and Techniques for Pro Bono Attorneys (Evanston)

The Moran Center's School-Based Civil Legal Clinic provides students and their families in Evanston/Skokie School District 65 with free legal advice and representation regarding a wide variety of issues impacting the students' ability to stay in and succeed in school. This upcoming workshop will help pro bono attorneys learn how to conduct comprehensive, yet efficient, case intakes.

The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19 from 4:00-6:00pm in Evanston (Erie Family Health Center, 1285 Hartrey). Participants will learn what trauma-informed interviewing looks like and receive training on client-centered lawyering. The training will allow attendees to witness and participate in mock interviews to practice newly acquired skills.

The Moran Center provides low-income Evanston youths and their families with integrated legal and social work services to improve their quality of life at home, at school, and within the Evanston community.
