Help elderly client determine insurance coverage after bad tenants do damage!

Our elderly client rented the upstairs of her home to some tenants who turned out to be bad news. After being evicted for non-payment of rent, the tenants vandalized her property, including putting cement in the bathroom pipes and causing flooding.
The client made a claim under her homeowner's policy but was denied.
Legal Aid Chicago is looking for an attorney with experience in insurance coverage issues to assist us in evaluating whether our client's homeowner policy should have covered this loss.
At this point, we are looking for help to determine the strength of the claim before we determine whether to sue, which would include review of the insurance policy.
