DuPage Elder Law Clinic

In this pilot project, PBN attorneys will staff a help desk at the Wheaton Prairie State Legal Services office where we will meet with low income seniors to help them obtain necessary powers of attorney and end of life documents. At the first meeting, the attorney will conduct an extensive interview and then the attorney will draft the documents from the comfort of their home over the next few days. The attorney can then return to the offices a few weeks later to execute the documents with the client, but that is not a requirement.

Why work with Pro Bono Network

Pro Bono Network works to expand the pool of pro bono attorneys by recruiting, training, placing, and supporting lawyers who want to be of service but have limitations on their availability or resources. While all are welcome, PBN works primarily with attorneys who are on career breaks, stay-at-home parents, have retired, or are solo practitioners.
