The Center for Conflict Resolution manages and resolves conflict through pro bono mediation services in Chicago-area courthouses in landlord/tenant disputes, neighbor disputes, small claims, consumer law, sexual harassment, parenting cases, employment discrimination, and some criminal and juvenile criminal cases.

In this interactive training, Kasey Franco of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Chicago will provide participants with the tools they need to effectively communicate with others, including those living with mental health conditions. Participants will also gain an understanding of common emotional responses of those grappling with a loved one living with mental illness in addition to how to access a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) trained police officer and other emergency mental health resources.
